An article published on the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung website by Klaus Linsenmeier, which is a green analysis of the global financial crisis caused by an already unsustainable financial system, discussing the need to rethink current economic theories.

“The world has become too complex for a “one theoretical school fits all” kind of thinking. What is needed is an open competition of ideas and theoretical discourse that does not discriminate between those who do or do not belong to the mainstream. As in other fields of science and society, more diversity and pluralism are needed in economic debates.”
