Ways out of the euro crisis: In search of a sustainable order

The Centre for European Politics (CEP) and the Heinrich Boell Stiftung are arranging a public discussion on potential sustainable ways out of the euro crisis.

 The crisis in the euro zone takes on threatening moves. Doubts are spreading about whether the European currency has can have any viable future. Many questions remain unanswered: Are the decisions taken so far sufficient to meet the challenges? What rules and institutions at the European level are necessary and right adequate for the long term, coherent responses? What contribution can be expected from the financial industry to manage the crisis? How can the democratic legitimacy of the needed systemic changes be assured? And what impact will the decisions on "Economic Governance" will have in the euro zone for the structure of the EU as a whole?
