Towards a Transatlantic Green New Deal: Tackling the Climate and Economic Crisis

This publication from the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung looks at the key components of a global Green New Deal, focusing on green sectors.

Published during the summer of 2009, this publication is mainly addressed to green economic stimulus measures, and looks at the key economic sectors that would need to be greened and the key steps that would need to be taken as part of a Green New Deal.

The publication looks at how to ensure sustainability in financial markets, and how markets and prices might better be employed to promote green economies. It also looks at the transition that would take place in the labour market as part of a Green New Deal.
